It’s always fun to add a little curb appeal to the front of your house. With the air getting cooler in the mornings I sense fall is right around the corner. Most Washingtonians are grateful to have the humidity and mosquitos behind us. If you take a drive through Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia’s historic district, you’ll start to see fall wreaths popping up on colonial homes and store fronts. There is nothing more inviting to your front door than a wreath. I’ve spotted a few I wanted to share with you. If you have a hot glue gun and ribbon it’s easy to make some of these yourself. Last year we made leaf wreaths with my daughter’s brownie troop. It can be a fun family project.
If you’re pressed for time visit your local nursery. I love to see what American Plant and Johnson Florist have in store for us each season. Please send me a picture of your front door wreath. I’m going to be posting some of them on my Facebook page. I would love to see your creation. Happy Wreathing!!
